My stay at the Taiwan Seven Days Boutique Hotel was a mixed bag. While I appreciated the friendly staff, especially manager Kerr, who was incredibly helpful, I wasn’t a fan of the layout with the shower and toilet in the same space. Overall, I felt secure leaving my daughter at the hotel, which was a huge relief for me as a parent.

The Standard Double Room was small, making it difficult to open my luggage comfortably. I also noticed some areas could use a good cleaning, such as black mold on the white board under the air conditioner.

Kerr and the staff were very accommodating, going the extra mile to help us. They provided assistance whenever needed, which made my stay more enjoyable.

The hotel is conveniently located with a bus stop and convenience store right across the street. It’s also fairly easy to reach popular spots like Jiufen from here.

While I didn’t try the on-site dining options, I noticed some indulgent pastries available that looked tempting. It would be great to explore more local eateries nearby.
Facilities

The facilities could use improvement, especially with the shower and toilet setup. Additionally, I faced a delay during check-in due to card reader issues, which was frustrating.

I had a decent stay at the Taiwan Seven Days Boutique Hotel, with clean rooms and a comfortable bed, but there were a few hiccups. The self-check-in process was somewhat frustrating, especially when my QR code didn't work. Also, the bathroom flooding during showers was a bit of a bother. Overall, it was a solid experience, but there’s room for improvement.

The room was clean and had a comfortable bed, but the bathroom design wasn't practical and it flooded easily.

The staff was generally helpful, but the self-check-in process was confusing, and communication at times was less than ideal.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the nearest MRT station, but I found it manageable, especially with a rental bike.

My stay at Taiwan Seven Days Boutique Hotel was far from ideal. The room was extremely small, and I encountered multiple cleanliness issues. On the plus side, the staff was somewhat helpful, but my overall experience was disappointing.

The Standard Double Room was uncomfortably small, with limited space for luggage. I found mold in several areas, including under the air conditioner, and the bathroom layout was strangely cramped, leading to flooding issues when showering.

While the staff attempted to assist during check-in and check-out, my experience felt uncoordinated. The supposed 'smart AI' system for check-in was faulty, making the process frustrating and time-consuming.

The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the nearest MRT station, which was manageable for me. Though I often used the YouBike service to get around.

Dining options were limited during my stay. I didn't particularly enjoy the nachos offered at the hotel and felt there were better local options elsewhere.
Facilities

The facilities seemed a bit lacking, especially with the cleanliness issues and the overall condition of the rooms. There was no regular cleaning service for consecutive nights, which could be improved.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The self check-in process was straightforward and I appreciated the comfort of my bed. However, the room had a noticeable cigarette smell and lacked proper cleanliness in some areas, which detracted from my overall experience.

The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable, but I noticed some black dust and mold in the corners. The shower design took some getting used to since it was a wet shower, which I'm not a fan of. Additionally, I struggled with space to open my luggage.
Service

The self check-in and out was easy but there wasn't any staff on-site to assist when needed. The intercom system made it hard to communicate if I had questions. Though I felt confident leaving my daughter at the hotel alone, the absence of staff was concerning.

There weren’t many dining options at the hotel, but I took advantage of the convenience store nearby for quick meals and snacks.

While the hotel had a unique boutique feel, I was disappointed that there wasn’t a front desk for inquiries and the fire alarm was quite alarming on New Year's Day. It took a while for assistance to arrive, and the lack of an automatic door release system felt odd.

My stay at Taiwan Seven Days Boutique Hotel was disappointing overall. While the location is decent, being a 15-minute walk to the nearest MRT station, the room left much to be desired. The size was extremely small, and the bathroom setup was awkward, with a shower almost over the toilet. Unfortunately, cleanliness was also an issue, with visible mold and hair in the bathroom upon arrival. ☹️
